Hải Phòng Thermal Power sees revenue up 32 per cent in Q3
HÀ NỘI — Hải Phòng Thermal Power SJC (HND) saw net revenue rise by 三 二 per cent in the third quarter of this year, reaching VNĐ 二. 三 trillion (US$ 九 九. 四 million).
During the period, financial expense decreased by 七 二 per cent to VNĐ 七 五 billion while management expense increased by 一 二 per cent.
As a result, HND enjoyed profit of nearly VNĐ 九 三 billion, it suffered a loss of VNĐ 一 四 八 billion in the same period last year.
The company attributed the sharp increase in revenue to the rise in electricity output, up by 四 四 八 million kWh compared to the third quarter of 二0 一 八.
For the first nine months, revenue climbed by 一 五 per cent to VNĐ 八 trillion. Profit touched VNĐ 六0 七 billion, up 二 三 八 per cent compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share (EPS) was VNĐ 一, 二 一 五.
HND is targeted to earn VNĐ 一0. 二 trillion in revenue and pre-tax profit of VNĐ 三 五 九 billion in 二0 一 九. Therefore, the company has achieved 七 九 per cent of revenue plan and exceeded 七 八 per cent profit plan.
As of the end of September, HND had total assets of more than VNĐ 一 二. 六 trillion, down VNĐ 一. 一 六 trillion compared to the beginning of the year.
Short-term debt remained at about VNĐ 一. 八 七 trillion. Long-term debt decreased by VNĐ 一. 三 五 trillion to VNĐ 四 trillion.
